Cogeneration module
The AB Group is the only European manufacturer to make complete cogeneration plants, in all their parts, in its Orzinuovi production facility.
This means that unparalleled know-how is acquired relating to every detail of the manufactured plants. The production process has been planned and organised along a defined path to optimise every phase: metal sections, preparation of container modules, motor fitting, wiring and assembly of electric and hydraulic parts, testing and shipment.
The cogeneration modules are made specifically to the customer's requirements and can be personalised as regards mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering.

Manufacture of low and medium-voltage switchboards
The power components of a cogeneration plant are particularly important for the quality and reliability of the finished product.
AB has always dedicated utmost attention to electrical design and directly looked after all aspects of specific technologies, above all thanks to the dedicated company, AB Power. During its years of growth, the AB Group has always had a strong vocation for the power components of its plants, both as regards design and production. Currently, the engineering team consists of 2 engineers and 5 electronic engineering technicians, specialised in electrical technologies for cogeneration plants. They deal with the design of plant power components. The team uses an innovative electrical design software which represents the very best that exists on the market at global level in the industry and is synergic as regards plant power sizing. At production level as well, AB uses only products recognised by the market for their excellence, thanks too to close cooperation with leading international companies in the field of research and production of power components.

Plumbing and heating
Part of plant engineering design are a coordinated series of aspects in the field of plumbing and heating systems, such as heat exchangers, emergency dissipaters, silencers, fully-instrumented circuits.
Even those few parts not made directly by AB, such as pumps and expansion vessels, are manufactured by partner companies who share the group's same quality commitment. Furthermore, considering the specific requirements of each plant, the AB technicians manufacture the hydraulic connections on the worksite to convey gas, hot water, cooled water, hot oil, steam and any type of required heat carrier.
-
Supervision and control software
For the customer, the supervision and control system is the centralised plant control point, not only for cogeneration but also for the production processes closely associated with it.
Supervision systems with remote options allow the user to select the operating settings, check operating conditions, and determine plant efficiency on a daily basis, by means of a remote connection accessible from the phone network, both fixed and mobile. The supervision system also represents a constantly enabled interface to allow AB Service, according to after-sales agreements made with the customer, to manage and regulate the plant in remote mode, thus providing an even more prompt and precise monitoring and troubleshooting service.
-
Standardization
Among the major factors currently pursued by the AB Group, the standardization process plays a strategic role.
The Group does in fact have a modern business outlook directed towards minimising waste and even more efficient personalisation whenever necessary. Standard production is not in fact in contrast to "made to measure", but integrates this in a complementary and synergic way. Besides ensuring the interchangeability of the major component parts, standardization allows cutting the production time of parts with common features and ensures reliable quality at competitive costs.
